Re: Borwick Fisheries
Liam, Peter and Diane, yes me!! went to Borwick on 29th July.
We started off in Little Brookerat 10.30 am, the water was crystal clear and we could see all the fish.
We caught on the first casts. Lots of Golden Orfes, some Koi Carp. Liam had a huge one on, which nearly pulled him in!! Unfortunately he lost it.
Diane got her 1st Tench out too.
Then we moved over to Fingals Fishpond at about 1.30pm.
Peter was after something big, but he didn't get one.
Liam and Diane just fished maggots and caught loads of fish, Roach, Rudd, Bream, Perch, Ide and Chub.
Peter gave up on the biggies and settled for the smaller stuff.
At 4pm ish we moved back to Little Brooker for another go at the fancy fish. We got a few more each before the sky went black, and the wind got up, so we decided to pack up. Just in time too, as the heavens opened!! Liam, who had to have just another 5 minutes, got soaked!!!
Diane is really enjoying her fishing, just needing a little help with unhooking sometimes, but more or less doing it all herself, and now has a Tench and a Bream to add to her Species list!! How many different fish have you caught this year??
